Description
The focus of the presentation will be on the intersection among disability, gender, ethnicity, and religion. Women with Disabilities struggle with health concerns, misdiagnostic, violence, and relationship concerns, compounded by racism and classism. Spirituality has been positively associated with physical and mental health, yet religion is often inaccessible to Women with Disabilities.
