Description
In this session, we’ll use meditation, gentle movement, and writing to investigate memories of intimacy, and the connections between desire, eros, and our political labor. We will explore our memories of spaces of intimacy, using different sensory approaches to create sanctuary for ourselves, a place to be and rest in our activist struggles, and to renew ourselves. This work draws on our personal histories: Stephanie Heit’s experience as a psychiatric system survivor and Petra Kuppers’ experience with arts practice as a mode of inquiry in disability culture.
