Department Chair: Carol Patitu, Ph.D.

Wright State’s School of Education and Leadership was put in place when the College of Health, Education, and Human Services was established in Fall 2021. Some of the programs, however, date back to soon after the university opened in 1967. The school combines Wright State’s resources to provide degree programs that promote leadership in both education and organizations.

Future educators can select programs based on teaching fields and age levels, including advanced studies and certificate and endorsement programs. Those studying organizational leadership will benefit from a broad, multidisciplinary perspective on managing people in the workplace.
