Abstract

In this paper, we discuss some numerical issues concerning an algorithm for solving the eigenvalue assignment (eva) problem by means of output feedback. The algorithm is based on the implicitly shifted QR algorithm for solving the algebraic eigenvalue problem. Both constant and dynamic output feedback are considered.
