Abstract
The National Household Survey on Drug Abuse found that 1.4%of the general population acknowledged using prescription medicationnot legitimately prescribed for them. The following study wasundertaken to explore the prevalence of prescription diversion(ie, redirection of one's medication to others) among patientsin a family practice setting.
