Description
On May 22, 2001, Matthew Opperman interviewed William Cuthbertson a former National Cash Register employee. During this interview Mr, Cuthbertson talked about his employment at NCR, the Old River Park, and the eventual buyout of the company by AT&T. This time period covers many years of work for Mr, Cuthbertson. Over this time he saw not only his own job change, but also the relationship between the employees and the company management. The product line also changed from manufacturing cash registers to automated teller machines to bombing computers used for the Korean War.
