Abstract
Recurrence risks are compared to conditional recurrence risks under certain association models corresponding to the underlying semi‐symmetric intraclass contingency table. Ratios of mean squared errors are used to make the comparisons. A study of the comparisons corroborates the theory of KHAMIS and HINKELMANN (1984), and gives new insight into the disease‐genotype association problem.
