Abstract
We formulate and study the steady-state solutions for an electrochemistry model with nonlinear diffusion. We establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions, prove the global convergence of a successive iteration scheme, and use examples to illustrate the formation of vacuum regions, which is not possible in a linear diffusion model.
