Abstract

This paper develops a new method for proving the nonexistence of certain classes of circulant weighing matrices. Using the method, the authors prove the nonexistence of two previously open cases: CW(154,36)CW(154,36)CW(154,36) and CW(170,64)CW(170,64)CW(170,64).
