Description
This is the third in a series of six interviews with Dr. William D. Sawyer, Dean of the Wright State University School of Medicine. In this third interview Dean Sawyer discusses in-depth his experiences, thoughts and impressions as a candidate for the Deanship of the School of Medicine. Dean Sawyer describes his three visits as a candidate to Wright State University and Dayton and his thoughts and impressions after each visit. Dean Sawyer then goes on to describe his decision to accept the Deanship in terms of its advantages and disadvantages.
In the second part of the interview Dean Sawyer goes on to discuss and compare his leadership and management style with that of Dr. John Beljan, first Dean of the School of Medicine.
