Description
This is the first in a series of interviews with Dr. Edward J. Spanier, former Assistant Director of Health Affairs Planning and former Assistant Dean for Administration in the Wright State University School of Medicine. He served as Assistant Vice President for Financial Services, and Treasurer of Wright State University.
In this initial interview, Dr. Spanier discusses his background prior to coming to Wright State University and his first years in the College of Science and Engineering here. Dr. Spanier talks about his initial responsibilities as developer of the initial School of Medicine planning proposal, and of the early stages of planning for a medical school at Wright State University. He goes on to discuss specific aspects of the School of Medicine proposal and development process up to his appointment as Associate Director for Health Affairs Planning.
