Abstract
A 7-year-old girl presents with recurrent episodes of dysuria. She has been diagnosed and treated for multiple episodes of urinary tract infections (UTIs). Review of her past medical history reveals 4 to 5 episodes of UTI within the last year. All were diagnosed clinically, based on the presence of dysuria and abdominal pain. She drinks a large amount of water during the day due to thirst and wakes up every night to drink at least 1 cup of water.
