Abstract

It was with humble pride that I assumed the chair of the Committee on Patient Safety and Education (CPSE) this year. While that sounds like an oxymoron, I think it captures the humility I feel when I look at the caliber of my fellow committee members as well as the ASA leadership and staff, see the great work they do, and juxtapose that against the sense of pride I feel at being asked to work with such smart, dedicated folks.
