Description
Popular culture depicts women with mental illness as sexual objects, yet mental health professions do not address how fetishization impacts these women. This presentation will discuss the impact and focus on how to change the cultural stereotype. We as clinicians should help women with mental illness foster and maintain a healthy sense of sexuality.
