Description
Join us after the conference for dinner and a movie. The program is open to conference attendees and the general public for $35.00 (to cover food and movie presentation fees). Our featured film will be "The Sessions," (2012), a movie about the true struggles of journalist, poet, polio survivor and advocate for the disabled, Mark O’Brien; starring John Hawkes, Helen Hunt, and William H. Macy. Following the movie, our presenters and program coordinators will discuss the merits/problems with the films' representations of sex and sexuality surrounding disability.
