Abstract
This paper contains two parts, Part-I is focused on simulation of nonlinear springback problems. In part II, a fuzzy control law is implemented in order to compensate the nonlinearity and uncertainty in tube bending. By combining elasticity and plasticity theories, a mathematical model for predicting springback is established and Simpson’s integration rule is adopted. The discrepancy between theoretical and experimental results is used to examine the accuracy of established model.
