The information presented in the fifteen HyperCard stacks that make up the Presidential Election Project consists of state-level popular and electoral vote returns for all known presidential and vice presidential candidates from 1798 to 1988. Election maps, tables, and charts are used to present the information from four different perspectives: national, state, political party, and candidate. Biographical information about candidates, along with their pictures is included in the stacks. The reviewer stacks of the Presidential Election Project did not include inaugural addresses and some data on minor candidates and parties which will be available in the marketed version.
