Abstract
The article offers information about the expedition of teachers to the Chesapeak region in Virginia in 2010. The expedition provides free college credit, free transportation, free meals and lodging, and stipends for classroom resource materials purchases. It notes that it requires its participants to establish lesson plans significant to grade levels five, eight, nine, and 10 in American History. It points out that teachers will experience the American history in the sites that they will visit. Other information and services regarding the expedition's activities and inclusions are also given
